| Focus on Principal Practice: Improving Instructional Leadership in Mathematics. Develop instructional leadership skills as part of a model professional learning community of principals/administrators that can be replicated by participants in schools. Learning Targets: Recognize and support effective instruction; Develop oral and written dialogue skills to use with teachers to discuss instruction; Develop probing questions and effective reflective questioning strategies with teachers; Develop skills and resources for problem solving; Develop skills and resources for using data to improve instruction; Develop relationships and networks with other principals and school leaders.
