| This training will focus on elementary, middle, and high school levels. It will provide an overview of the requirements to meet the WASL standard.

| Course Outcomes: | 1) Participants will network with peers, share resources, and gain knowledge of grant opportunities. 2) They will become familar with best practice curricula and research showing the connection between healthy students and academic success. Teachers will also learn about the importance of substance abuse prevention training, particularly tobacco prevention. 3) They will learn about health-related data and ways in which it can guide their instruction. Participants will learn about effective CBA's Classroom Based Assessment for Health. |
