| This training covers the introductory to intermediate levels of effective classroom use of a projector, document camera, presentation computer, interactive whiteboard (SmartBoard or Hitachi), interactive monitor (Smart Sympodium) and/or a classroom response system (eInstruction or Quizdom). We will start with the basic techniques needed to correctly set up and maintain a projector and document camera. Standard techniques that apply to a variety of projector and document camera models will be presented. We will then cover/discuss the effective educational strategies for presentations and document camera use in the classroom. Last, we will cover the use of enhancement technologies of interactive whiteboards, interactive monitors and classroom response systems based on available time and participant interest. Participants will have the opportunity to use the technologies themselves. We will cover effective educational use of these tools as well.
