PowerPoint is a versatile tool that teachers can use to teach subjects more effectively, present student work to parents/guardians or present student work on the Internet. Students can use it to demonstrate their learning at a deeper level.
Learn what research shows are the effective methods for using PowerPoint to help students learn and to create better, educationally appropriate presentation themselves.

This class will focus on the techniques of using PowerPoint and how it can be used effectively in the classroom. Prior PowerPoint experience will enhance your learning in this workshop. Students who have never used PowerPoint at all should take the Introduction to PowerPoint class.

Additional Information:
You may attend the class online or in person at ESD 105.   Online participation is available from any computer with a high-speed connection (at school or home with a broadband Internet connection).

The connection information to access the session will be sent out the day before or morning of the class and you must be enrolled by that time. You may access the class from any computer with a high-speed connection.

It is highly recommended to use a headset w/microphone during the training.
