| Course Outcomes: | 1) First Steps in Mathematics develops and expands teachers' understanding of mathematics and how children learn. 2) First Steps enables teachers to successfully diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate their student's learning experiences in four strands - number, measurment, space and chance & data. 3) Sample lessons and learning activities provide teachers with practical and simple ideas to support student's development. |
