Participants will be introduced to instructional practices that will help students acquire scientific vocabulary and improve technical writing through the use of science notebooks.

This two day Introductory Training will support the implementation or piloting of the inquiry-based science: A Human Approach instructional materials. Participants will deepen their understanding of how to teach the conceptual themes of the materials.

Three major themes of instruction will emerge in this workshop: Understanding the conceptual flow of each unit, student learning, and participation in actual classroom activities.
